Photos created with spirit & heart

leslie j. yerman has been making photos most of her adult life. Based in Tucson, AZ, she has photographed urban scenes, nature, people and places, children and families. A communications consultant for more than 20 years, photography is her passion.

Artist’s Statement

The goal of my photography is to capture the spirit and heart of the moment. I choose to use only existing light so I can catch the subject’s natural essence. I prefer to work in black and white tones, which, to me, depict intimacy and subtleties that are sometimes lost in color.
